(departure: 9.30 a.m. – return: 7.00 p.m.)

Crossing the hills of the countryside of Senigallia, we will reach a Wine Cellar near Morro d'Alba.. We will visit the wine cellar and the vineyards and taste typical local wines such as Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC, Lacrima di Morro d’Alba DOC and Vino di Visciola together with toasted bread with local olive oil and dry biscuits. The second stop will be in the Abbey of San Salvatore (erected in the XI century, one of the most important examples of the Romanesque architecture in the Marches) in the valley of Valdicastro.10667_Formaggi Here meat and cheese are produced with the animals grown up in the one thousand hectares estate in the middle of the Parco Naturale della Gola della Rossa e Frasassi. This agricultural cooperative “San Romualdo” was rewarded the Green flag for Agriculture in 2006 for the enthusiasm dedicated to the care of the soil, the production of typical local products and the respect of the natural ecosystems. In this wonderful environment there is a courtyard where the Camaldolesi monks used to prepare and sell infusions, traditional spirits, essences and other natural products. After having satisfied our tastes, we will head towards Cingoli, a beautiful medieval village, called “Balcony of the Marches” for its strategic position and a splendid view of the countryside. A short walk through the alleys allow us to reach the most panoramic place of the small centre.
